| Today's most economic and accurate way of producing survey control is via the Global Positioning System. We use
Trimble (VRS) and Sokkia instruments for this purpose. The
Trimble VRS system allows a single instrument to give real time
coordinates via the mobile telephone system.Our Sokkia equipment will carry out surveys using the Real Time Kinetic survey method, whose advantages are that no lines of sight are required, allowing the surveyor to move from area to area without having to reset survey instruments. Benefits are speed and cost savings. |
